• Founded by Robert E. Reinhard, CPCU, the agency’s early growth and success was primarily the result of acquisitions. During the last three decades, the agency’s growth and success have been accomplished by the development of a strong internal production team responsible for the production and retention of commercial and personal lines accounts

• Richard E. Reinhard, son of the founder, joined the agency in 1972. Rick became Executive Vice President in 1979, President in 1982 and sole Stockholder/Principal in 1986. After 37 years of service, Rick retired from the Agency at the close of 2008.

• Chris Birkhead joined Reinhard Insurance as a Commercial Lines Producer in 1983, became Vice President/Principal in 1987, Executive Vice President in 2001. Chris purchased the agency’s stock from Rick Reinhard upon his retirement and now serves as President. Under Chris’ leadership, our commercial lines have grown into a significant part of the agency’s business mix.

• Alan Goodrich, AAI, joined the agency as a Commercial Lines Producer in 1992 and became Vice President in 2001. In addition to producing and servicing commercial lines accounts, Alan works closely with Chris Birkhead in continuing the development and growth of various business segments.
